About Three Kingdoms

The Three Kingdoms period was a time of political and military turmoil in China from 220 to 280. It was marked by the division of the Han dynasty into three rival states: Wei, Shu, and Wu. The three states fought for supremacy over China for six decades, until Wei conquered Shu in 263 and was then usurped by Jin in 266, Jin conquered Wu in 280.

The Three Kingdoms period is one of the most turbulent and fascinating periods in Chinese history, as it witnessed the rise and fall of many famous generals, politicians, and strategists. The Three Kingdoms period also had a profound impact on Chinese culture, literature, and art, as it inspired many works such as the Romance of the Three Kingdoms (三国演义) and the Records of the Three Kingdoms (三国志).
