Some Chinese myths have multiple versions, the differences within them are mostly subtle but sometimes can be substantial, we will share only one of the many versions we love most. Furthermore, as the myths were created and modified by different people in diffrent regions in different periods of time, it is not unusual readers find that some characters who are mentioned in two different myths have conflicting personality, belief and family tree settings.
